New apartments in Battersea...

I have been approached by someone with lots of apartments in Battersea, Trafalgar Square, South Kensington... Well, a lot of work uploading these in the coming months. Will try to synch the availability from their calendar to the ShortStay-London site. They look really good, modern. Transport wise you would be using the train as much as the tube. I knew people who moved to Battersea when it got to be fashionable, must check out the area again...  Here is the first listing, for a one bedroom apartment: http://www.shortstay-london.com/apts.php?ID=1363

  1. Battersea is happening! Lots of new developments with Chelsea football club, the American embassy. Looks like everyone wants to move in.

  2. Wow where do I start! There are so many good places to go to in Battersea.

The first place I would recommend is Matrogusto. Wow if you want o feel at home in a restaurant this is the place. The owner is so welcoming and knowledgeable it’s a pleasure to go. The food is high quality Italian and there is a good selection wine. It is always nice to finish off with a good coffee and grappa and they a super quality too.

Chada Thai is a family restaurant, serving superlative and authentic Thai food. It doesn’t look like much fro the outside but once inside you are in an oasis of calm. This restaurant has authentic food at reasonable prices, I have been a few times now and never been disappointed, highly recommend.

The Lost Angel is a bar, restaurant and club at the weekend, a real neighbourhood joint offering English food. One of those places where you can come during the week for a bite to eat with the other half, then at the weekend descend on with a group of friends for live music and DJ and get dancing. It's a real chameleon. There is real ale along side award winning cocktails, comedy nights, film nights, and the good old pub quiz.
